Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions

“We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Pace Vehicle Transportation Limited, the vehicle transportation provider.

“You”, “Your” refers to the customer or client requesting the transportation service.

“Vehicle” means the car, van, motorcycle, or other type of motor vehicle being transported.
2. Booking & Payment
-
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
-
A quote will be provided before the service begins; this quote is valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated.

Payment terms will be confirmed at booking. We may require full or partial payment upfront.

Late payments may incur additional charges or interest as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled collection time are free of charge.

Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a charge of up to 50% of the quoted fee.
-
If our driver is en route or on-site when cancellation occurs, 100% of the fee will be charged.
4. Client Responsibilities
-
You must ensure the vehicle is ready for collection at the agreed time and location.

The vehicle must have working brakes and steering (unless agreed otherwise).

You must disclose any mechanical faults or modifications that may affect loading or transport.

You are responsible for removing all personal items from the vehicle. We are not liable for lost or damaged belongings left in the vehicle.

You must provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses, along with any access limitations.
5. Our Responsibilities

We will transport your vehicle safely and securely using suitable equipment.

We will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed collection and delivery times but are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, breakdowns, or other events beyond our control.

We carry Goods in Transit insurance for vehicles in our care. Full details are available upon request.
6. Insurance & Liability

We are insured under a valid Goods in Transit policy up to £500,000 per vehicle.

We are not liable for mechanical or electrical faults that arise during transport unless proven to be caused by our negligence.

Cosmetic damage must be reported at the point of delivery. Claims made after acceptance of the vehicle will not be considered.

We are not liable for delays, missed events, or loss of use.
7. Vehicle Condition

A visual inspection will be carried out before loading. Any existing damage will be noted and may be photographed.

It is your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is in a suitable condition for transport.
-
Vehicles that are not roadworthy must be declared in advance.
8. Unattended Collections/Deliveries

If no one is available at the collection or delivery point, we reserve the right to:
-
Cancel the job and charge a call-out fee, or
-
Leave the vehicle at a safe nearby location (if pre-agreed).

9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, accidents, road closures, or law enforcement actions.
10. Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
